Sicilian olive oil reflects the island's diverse landscape — from the volcanic Etna region to coastal plains. Climate and soil give the oils a unique character.

Well-known cultivars include Nocellara del Belice (fruity, almond), Biancolilla (delicate, floral) and Cerasuola (medium, green). Each expresses a different facet of Sicily.

Sicily is also Italy's largest organic olive oil producer, thanks to the favorable climate that reduces the need for pesticides.
